Our dishes are inspired from the origins the land that Phan, Kinta's founder, have grown up in - Malaysia. Traditional Malaysian cuisine uses a lot of Belachan, a potent shrimp paste. In keeping with our vegetarian-friendly cooking, we avoid using this shrimp paste, and instead use the numerous other types of spices and seasonings to flavor the soup base and sauces.
